Sleeper makes apps faster.

Sleeper shows developers exactly how to write faster web applications.

Make sense of your app.

For many developers, scaling out an app is a black art. What should we cache? What are the tradeoffs to indexing this column? How am I going to convince shareholders, customers, and clients that this product will go the distance?

That's where Sleeper comes in.

Sleeper runs in the background of your app, unobtrusively gathering data on how to make your app faster. That data is then analyzed and suggestions are immediately generated to help guide your development team.

What can Sleeper do for me?

OK, that's cool. Now give me the details!

Sleeper runs as a plugin in your Ruby on Rails app.
(We're currently developing tools for other frameworks!)
Metrics on slowdowns in your app are gathered and sent to Sleeper.
(Don't worry, we're not sending any code, and you're protected by our T&C)
These metrics are then analyzed, and action items are generated for your team to act on.
(The whole idea is that we think about thorny scalability issues so you don't have to!)

Take a peek inside:

Powerful real-time reports and suggestions
Sleeper generates an ever-growing number of reports in real-time based on data from your app. These reports include overall scalability analyses for your app, suggestions for database & code optimization, and usage patterns.
Critical time-sensitive alerts
You can set up alerts for every metric Sleeper monitors — including free memory, host loads, and database request times. These metrics can be sent out via SMS, Jabber, or email.
Graphing of key metrics
Sleeper's graphing provides an easy way to keep tabs on your app once you've got it dialed in, or when you're starting to scale up.

Pricing

You pay for Sleeper on a monthly basis, depending on how many apps you have and how much history you'd like.

We've got plans starting as low as $20.00 a month!
